Moon in Virgo is always a great time to do the chores and nitty gritty you usually avoid.  Great for stream lining operations, organizing and designing efficient methods where there was only chaos before.

Mars in VIRGO…239 days

The Economy of Chi

Mars has been sweeping through Virgo like a one woman army since 19th Nov 2011, continuing to spray and wipe right through to July 3rd 2012.  That’s nearly 8 months to clean up any mess or re-route, re-group and re-calibrate your energies, direction or plans.  Much of this time will be spent in a retrograde motion, which only occurs approx every two years.    When Mars goes retrograde it turns the Mars action principle inward..or, like an army having to retreat, logistics, diagnostics and planning become important tools.

In your own life, this means you’ll be having to backtrack, retreat, and review your direction.  Mars is the Field Marshal to your Sun.  It’s how you get your ego out there to express and meet the desires of your Sun.  With the recent Full Moon in Virgo conjunct this retrograde mars, tensions may have flared and swords unsheathed.  Take a look at what you may have already cut loose or shelved for review.  This is a long transit , keeping within the borders of Virgo for the entire journey.  We’ll have plenty of time to clean up after ourselves and make sure we have sorted out the details of what we want to do, and how we are going to do it.

The economy of chi – Virgo is both organized and efficient, in what ways could you be more efficient and more effective with your energy?  What shape is your eco rating on your own body and life?  Are you in the green, or are you living in the acid red?  Reviewing habits that affect our energy and health will come under fire.  This is a fantastic time to take no prisoners and cut loose any bad habits…can a new routine replace them? FULL MOON in VIRGO…2.5 days

Sun in Pisces + Full Moon in Virgo = cleanliness is next to God/dessness

The Full Moon shines its light on the unconscious and draws to the surface that which may be pre-existing, yet that we havn’t been aware of.  Notice what dawns on you that you hadn’t noticed, what comes to your attention or what has surfaced.  This includes looking at your dreams, anything standing out to you and begging attention?

On the axis of Pisces/Virgo the emphasis is on service to self and others.  If we have a routine that is life supporting, then we can be of service to others.  This means making sure your mundane needs are met, especially in the area of health, body fitness, being organised.  Then you can better tend to the cares of the world or others that may need your help.  This does not mean sacrifice.

When your body and your life are in good health and organised (Virgo), you can then tend to the Piscean realms of spirituality, creative arts, and swimming out into the great collective imagination because you have a well tended home and anchor to return to.  Is your cleanliness next to God/dessness?

MOON in VIRGO…

Pure as the driven snow?…not likely!

You don’t have to look far beyond the controlled exterior of a Virgoan type to see a warm and wanton hearth just busting at the seams to get out.  The only differece with Virgo is that they manage it all with lashings of discretion, aplomb and good manners…unless of course you use the wire coat hanger-a Virgoan tanty is not one you would ever want to experience twice, if you survived it that is.

Virgo Moon creates a mood of crispy cool headed purpose.  A great time to organize, do your chores and get every thing in order.  The Aquarian Moon adds rational detachment into the mix.

Mars and the Moon swing together in Virgo adding some superpowered cleaning agent to your day.  If you don’t become a highcharged dustbuster perhaps you’ll just spend plenty of extra elbow grease getting everything exactly how you want it or hunting for just the right piece of white goods (as I did today).  Perfection is always paramount when Virgo is in town.  A super realist, Virgo sees things as they really are, and knows how to bring anything to its perfect potential.

Capricorn Sun+Virgo Moon = You’d better Werrrrk, work it grrl!

The Moon and Sun play nicely together in Earth signs for the next 2 1/2 days..both Virgo and Capricorn are signs which are highly organized as well as like a semblance of control over their environment…this combo could leave you better organized than it found you!  Get your tax done, buy a smart new suit, sort out your filing..channel this energy and you’ll certainly profit.  Practical and ready to do the things you’d usually like to ignore (I know I do) take advantage.  Both signs run a tight ship but when business and chores have been taken care of they have their sensual side.  Enjoying some of the finer things that only money can buy is on the menu…Fire and Air signs might not feel naturally akin to this energy, yet it can be used so advantageously…
