Aries is the 1st sign of the zodiac, which means this is the beginning of our new solar year energetically.  Since the zodiac was designed for the northern hemisphere this time speaks of the Sun crossing the equator from the South back to the North, bringing the spark of new life after a long cold winter.  For us in the South, it’s as if we are now facing the Libran time of the Sun being opposite us, so that we are objective and able to see and contemplate what lies ahead, as well as plan as we leave the activity and achievements of the Summer behind.

Never the less we are working with the original zodiac, albeit from a rather distant perspective, Aries…and a new solar year..This month the Initiating fire of the Suns energy urges us to push forward with new plans, while both Mercury and Mars are retrograde, halting the natural instincts of that fiery energy.  This month is a battle best delivered with a lot of forethought and planning.  Do your research and make sure you’ve noted every detail, as more info may come to light when Merc and Mars return to a direct motion.

Sun in Pisces + Full Moon in Virgo = cleanliness is next to God/dessness

The Full Moon shines its light on the unconscious and draws to the surface that which may be pre-existing, yet that we havn’t been aware of.  Notice what dawns on you that you hadn’t noticed, what comes to your attention or what has surfaced.  This includes looking at your dreams, anything standing out to you and begging attention?

Pisces Sun+Leo Moon = Belief in yourself

MOON in CANCER…2.5 days

Sun in Pisces+Moon in Cancer = the sensitive poet, private, and did I mention sensitive…

The Moons transits only last 2.5 days.  They are fast moving and transitory, yet still seem to affect our emotional moods deeply. Today the Moon is in its home sign of Cancer, which means it can function more naturally and directly.  Take advantage of the home and family loving sign and do some thing to nuture yourself at a foundational level…That means good home cooked food, family time with those who warm the cockles of your heart, and that you can relax around.

There’s a watery ambiance as the Sun is also in Pisces, as well as Neptune and Chiron..Those with a lot of Air and Fire in there charts may be feeling as though they are swimming in a pool and can’t quite gear up to their usual cracking pace.  Those with more water or Earth in their birth charts will feel quite at home.  You’ll find this astro climate supportive of your natural state, which will translate as having a good easy flow, or cry.
